1. Apply a patch file (eDSMSN81.exe) to temporarily disable the "MSN Messenger File Transfer Encryption" feature in eDataSecurity, which causes a compatibility issue with Windows® Live™ Messenger 8.1.

2. Install an updated eDataSecurity 2.5.3032 to permanently solve the problem.

To install:
(1) Save and unzip " eDataSecurity_2.5.3032.zip" to a temporary folder in the target PC running the Windows Vista™ operating system.
(2) Right-click "install_s.bat" and select Run as administrator.
(3) The User Account Control dialog box pops up with the message, "Windows® needs your permission to continue." Click Continue to proceed.
